| The congregation at the 26th Street Church of Christ needed new, accessible worship space and a larger area for fellowship dinners and events. Worship space with accessible restrooms and other support areas were added, leaving the existing auditorium for later conversion into a fellowship center. Materials and forms were chosen to blend with the building and neighborhood. Interiors are filled with indirect daylight to create a bright yet contemplative mood for worship. Edward Tucker Architects, Inc. also designed parking and site access to reorient arrival points to the new entry. |
