| Major renovations to this existing senior care facility have greatly increased patient comfort and privacy through reconfigured rooms, group areas and nursing support spaces. A new Homestead Unit, the region’s only licensed facility for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, is a part of the first floor, while the building’s second and third floors, vacant for six years, were renovated and reopened for private and semi-private traditional skilled nursing care rooms. Other improvements included an expanded kitchen, dining room acoustic and lighting upgrades, a new physical rehabilitation center, and new administration offices. |
