E. Keith Dean, AIA Emeritus
Consulting Architect

Born in Huntington in 1926, E. Keith Dean attended Ohio State University and received a Bachelor of Architecture in 1953. In 1956 he co-founded the firm of Dean and Dean, Inc. Architects, and spent the next 30 years designing many significant commissions in Huntington. His contributions to the field of architecture reached beyond practice as he served six consecutive, five-year, gubernatorial appointments to the West Virginia Board of Architects. He was awarded the President’s Service Award from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in 1998. He is an Emeritus member of the American Institute of Architects, and a past member of the Board of Trustees at the Huntington Museum of Art. Keith was retained as a consultant at the inception of Edward Tucker Architects, Inc. in 1996. He continues to be a valuable resource to the firm. He resides in Huntington with his wife Jean.
